2022RS31 - Technical Business Development

Our client manufacture metal enclosures of top European quality. Strategically located in Jebel Ali, they have been mastering their processes for the past 20 years to provide flexibility and infinite product customization solutions to their valued customers.

Today, they want to accelerate further and explore additional industries. We are thus looking for a well- rounded, self-determined professional with strong business acumen.

Job purpose:
Your mission is clear: bring new customers on board. Increase company revenues and margins by selling our technical solutions. Manage a customer portfolio, work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond on time and deliver a high-level customer experience.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Target specific industries. Understand customer requirements. Synthetize their queries and problems.
2. Sell our value proposition and be solution oriented.
3. Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents.
4. Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes thru our ERP system. Secure and renew orders.
5. Provide technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
6. Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
7. Develops customer staff by providing technical information and training. Visit them regularly.
8. Ensure a smooth delivery and on-time payment collection.
9. Ability to increase the value of your customer portfolio over time.
10. Grow our profit margin.
11.  Accountability, teamwork, and a go-getter attitude.

- Bachelor's Degree in technical engineering, mechanical or electrical.
- At least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
- Able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Precise and detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers.
- Ability to liaise with a diverse team (sales, design, manufacturing, finance, marketing …)
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, confident communication.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Fluent in English. Arabic, and/or any additional European language would be an advantage.
