2022RS33 - Key Account Manager

The CCI FRANCE UAE is looking for its new Key Account Manager, the ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks and work diligently under pressure.

Reporting to:  Deputy Managing Director
Contract type: Full time, local contract
Location: Abu Dhabi offices

The Key Account Manager, is able to provide a broad range of services to support the different stages of the companies’ development.

She/he is to be one of the CCI France UAE pillar representative to the local business community within the assigned industry sectors.

She/he is multitask and manages several projects simultaneously.

Deliver services that increase business opportunities for companies in compliance with the CCI France UAE’s procedures

  • Assess the potential of a project or a product on a  sample  of  prospects and analyze the  local competition 
  • Manage Business-prospecting missions : deliver  market  studies  and  business-matching  meetings  with  potential partners based  on  company's  specifications
  • Get the approval of the list of prospects targeted according to the specifications
  • Organize a  customized  program  of business meetings
  • Brief the client upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi and debrief before her/ his departure
  • Client can be assisted during meetings upon request
  • Offer assistance to French companies not already settled in the UAE, to pursue their commercial development locally. This is achieved by maintaining a close relationship with the identified prospects and partners for up to 6 months.
  • Facilitate UAE Market workshops on specific sectors in the sectorial areas assigned 
  • Provide  market  discovery  and  trade  missions  for  companies interested  in  finding  out  more  about  new  countries  and  how  to  develop  activities  out  of the  UAE
  • Make presentation to ensure the promotion of all the services of the CCI France UAE
  • Demonstrate initiative, be proactive and propose new offers and services

Membership within the assigned industry sectors

  • Development of the CCI France UAE  Membership 
  • Renewal of membership, new members, resigned members
  • Meet with new  - existing CCI France UAE based members to understand their needs
  • Enroll new members mainly as companies and not individuals, keep existing members
  • Identify potential sponsorship opportunities for CCI France UAE events;
  • Communication with members and non- members
  • Responsible for the Extranet information regarding members
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the CRM for the key accounts including the opportunities module.
  • Issue membership invoices and chase payments

Lead sectorial committees and forums

  • Lead specific industry sector as assigned by the Deputy Managing Director
  • Set a calendar of activities with his/her colleagues of the UAE
  • Organizes large events such as sectorial forums
  • Build and maintain business and profitable partnerships with key clients and members
  • Identify potential speakers for conferences, panel discussion or workshops and contact them
  • Identify potential sponsorship opportunities and sponsorship strategy with the support of the Deputy Managing Director
  • Define the sponsorship packages in collaboration with the Membership & Sponsoring Manager
  • Create the content for the Director of Communications
  • Issue sponsorship invoices and chase payments

Manage projects:

  • Define the guidelines with the Deputy Managing Director and ensure their follow-up
  • Provide weekly reports on the project’s progress
  • Define the schedule
  • Follow the execution of the schedule and the respect of the deadlines
  • Define the distribution of roles and tasks of contributors
  • Supervise the workload
  • Define the priorities with the support of the Deputy Managing Director

CRM

  • Use and update the CRM following appointments with Sponsors, partners and prospects
  • Support the CRM administration
  • Update CRM throughout the year - Track and chase members to build their online profile, insure data accuracy for assigned accounts
  • Update members/companies profiles when needed in CRM  or when required by a member for assigned accounts
  • Verify and approve online profile changes by each members through CRM
  • Issue invoices through CRM when required and send them to the right contact (membership, events, sponsorship)
  • Contact members and invite them to update their online profile for the Directory 
  • Help members update their profile online and/or proceed member replacements
  • Monitor subscriber lists to update the main mailing list  
  • Assist to implement and use efficiently the CRM and train the staff and trainees

Financial Management

• Define the budget and margin associated of projects and get it approved by the Deputy Managing Director
• Monitor and manage the budget of projects assigned
• Provide weekly financial report on projects to the Deputy Managing Director
• In charge of gross margin and profitability
• Collect receipts payment and manage delinquencies as per the CCI France UAE’s procedures

Events

  • Take part in the main CCI France UAE events (FT, BAH, forums etc…) and network with attendees

Skills and experience required:

  • 5+yrs of BD or Key Account Management experience
  • Multi-task from A to Z

  • Fluent in both English and French
