2023RS06 - Key Account Manager

The CCI FRANCE UAE is looking for its new Key Account Manager, the ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks and work diligently under pressure.

Reporting to:  Deputy Managing Director
Contract type: Full time, local contract
Location: Abu Dhabi offices

The Key Account Manager, is able to provide a broad range of services to support the different stages of the companies’ development.

She/he is to be one of the CCI France UAE pillar representative to the local business community within the assigned industry sectors.

Deliver services that increase business opportunities for companies in compliance with the CCI France UAE’s procedures

  • Assess the potential of a project or a product on a sample of prospects and analyze the local competition 
  • Manage Business-prospecting missions : deliver market studies and business-matching meetings with potential partners based on company's specifications
  • Organize a customized program of business meetings
  • Offer assistance to French companies, not already settled in the UAE, to pursue their commercial development locally.  
  • Provide market discovery and trade missions  

Membership within the assigned industry sectors

  • Development of the CCI France UAE Membership 
  • Renewal of membership, new members, resigned members
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the CRM 
  • Issue membership invoices and chase payments

Lead sectorial committees and forums

  • Lead specific industry sector as assigned by the Deputy Managing Director
  • Set a calendar of activities 
  • Project Management of events such as sectorial forums
  • Build and maintain business and profitable partnerships with key clients and members
  • Identify potential speakers for conferences, panel discussion or workshops and contact them

Manage projects:

  • Define the guidelines with the Deputy Managing Director and ensure their follow-up
  • Provide weekly reports on the project’s progress
  • Define the priorities with the support of the Deputy Managing Director


  • Update CRM throughout the year - Track and chase members to build their online profile, insure data accuracy for assigned accounts
  • Issue invoices through CRM when required 
  • Help members update their profile online and/or proceed member replacements

Financial Management

• Define the budget and margin associated of projects 
• Monitor and manage the budget of projects assigned
• Provide weekly financial report on projects to the Deputy Managing Director
• In charge of gross margin and profitability


  • Take part in the main CCI France UAE events (FT, BAH, forums etc…) and network with attendees

Skills and experience required:

  • 5+yrs of Business Development or Key Account Management experience
  • Multi-task from A to Z
  • Positive mindset, team spirit
  • Problem-solver
  • Ethics and non-disclosure attitude
  • Excellent commercial and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Professional, sociable attitude towards members, non-members and colleagues
  • Represents well the CCI France UAE at all time, both when on and off duty
  • Fluent in both English and French
