Professionally he is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management and Fellow of the Safety and Reliability Society. With over 40 international publications, he is considered an expert in the fields of Risk Management, Public Transportation Systems, Innovation Management, System Safety and Railway Certification, Strategy and Corporate Governance.
