Christophe COMTESenior Vice President Business Development - ENGIE

Christophe has more than 20 years’ experience in utilities markets developing projects and solutions to support growth and innovation in sustainable development. He leads the development of Hydrogen projects for ENGIE in the Middle East since 2019 and was earlier in charge of origination and development of renewable energy projects in Asia Pacific including notably two large geothermal projects in Indonesia representing an investment of about 1.3 BUSD. He concluded a series of partnerships for solar, wind and hydroelectric projects and raised financing with local industrial conglomerates for an innovative microgrid project bringing access to energy for remote and isolated communities. Earlier Christophe held various management positions within SUEZ group including President Director of the water concession company of western Jakarta and Managing Director in charge of water activities in Australia and New Zealand.
Christophe holds an MBA from HEC Business School, France, a Post-graduate degree in Materials Sciences and graduated as Chemical Engineer.
