Philippe Diebold was appointed Chief Technical Officer for RATP Dev in 2016, after dedicating nearly 25 years of his career to engineering, maintenance and urban transit operations at RATP.  He is a member of the RATP Dev Executive Committee.

Philippe Diebold started his career in 1990 as a roadworks engineer for Bouygues, overseeing sites for urban roadway repairs. In 1992 he joined RATP engineering teams and later served as the Prime Contractor to build the Val d'Europe station. Beginning in 2001, he managed the RATP Projects department to design new infrastructure and improve passenger areas. He then served as Operational Unit Director, overseeing a staff of 500 dedicated to station equipment and systems maintenance. In 2012 he joined the Infrastructure Management department to oversee safety equipment, heavy station equipment and civil engineering infrastructure. From 2014 to 2016, he served as Director for RER line A — the busiest in the Ile-de-France region — and managed a staff of 1,600 tasked with accommodating more than a million passengers a day.

Mr. Diebold is a graduate of ENSAM Engineering School.
