On the occasion of the New Year, the FBC’s Board of Directors and Team would like to wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2020!
The coming months will offer an exciting, stimulating and promising context with Expo 2020 Dubai just around the corner. That’s why we have decided to carry out our upcoming actions and initiatives under the theme of “Innovation” to contribute to build a happier and smarter city, but also to innovation in Finance (green finance) or retail (data, store of the future)...
In this context, we will organize an “Innovation Dinner” on the 16th of April 2020, which will be a milestone of our 18-month programme that will culminate in a historical “GALA FRANCE” during the Expo 2020 Dubai beginning of Q1 2021.
The FBC will also re-energise its sectorial and functional committees and clubs, starting with a Luxury & Retail Committe on the 19th of January, which will shed light on transformation and innovation in retail industry!
Last but not least, we will continue to strengthen our relationships with the local authorities as well as with French entities.
Beyond Emirates, dramatic social and economic changes happening in Saudi Arabia are a great potential for growth that we have to seize. It is a great opportunity for our corporate members which are based in the UAE with a regional scope. The FBC will dedicate a lot of focus on KSA with an Economic Forum on Saudi Arabia on 2nd of February, that will gather experts and senior leaders including from PIF and SAGIA, followed by a Learning Expedition in KSA from the 16th to 18th of March.
Expo 2020, Innovation, new markets and KSA are great opportunities that we need to tap into in 2020. You can rely on our support for your development!
