  • 1976-1979: Founder and Director of Iran R-TV M-East and Africa office, Cairo
  • 1979-2002: Political and economic free-lance correspondent and analyst
  • 2002-2012: Director of UBIFRANCE regional press office, based in Cairo
  • 2012-2014: Country Director, UBIFRANCE office in Egypt (presently Business France)
  • 2015-2020: Managing Director, French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Egypt


  • 1976: Medal of “Courage & Sacrifice” after being taken hostage in Damascus
  • 1987-1995: Member of the Committee for Human Rights in Iran
