Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales to join our team at Frozen Foods Trading DMCC. The ideal candidate possesses a strong knowledge of the food trading industry (with frozen foods knowledge being an added advantage), a proven track record in B2B sales, and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our food products to wholesale distributors, retailers, food service providers, and other commercial customers across Africa and the Middle East, as well as beyond in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in domestic and/or international markets.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing exceptional service and support.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with clients to close deals.
• Develop relationships directly with major food manufacturers worldwide in order not to depend only on middlemen/traders for the commercial activity.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to develop effective sales strategies. Diligently deliver on sales and operational budgets set by the board.
• Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Attend industry trade shows, events, and client meetings to generate leads and expand the network.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, performance analyses and remediation action plans to deliver on planned targets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, certifications, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications :
• 2–5 years of sales experience, ideally in the food trading, import/export, or FMCG sector.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Multilingual skills are a plus (depending on the market).
• Willingness to travel as required is obligatory.
