Every year, just before going on holiday, I used to push myself to the limit. Sound familiar?
Trying to close all urgent work, maybe even do some last-minute business trips to ensure everything would run smoothly, organise the travel, manage logistics… and then I would arrive on holiday completely exhausted. Often, I even got sick during the first days.
We always promise ourselves to rest and recharge during holidays. But in reality, it’s hard to really disconnect. Our mind keeps running. Some of us even bring our Teams, emails or meetings with us on vacation.
