Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi students begin mentorship with our French Emirati Women Committee

We are proud to announce that six students from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi have been paired with senior professionals from the our French Emirati Women's Committee in a new mentorship programme set to run until November 2026. This initiative aims to connect students directly with institutional leadership and reflects a growing commitment within the Franco-Emirati business community to invest in the development of young women professionals in the UAE. 

Launched in April 2026, the programme was coordinated by CCI France UAE as part of the Duo Mentoring Programme and brings together six accomplished women from across the legal, financial, and entrepreneurial sectors to guide a new generation of students through tailored one-to-one sessions.

With mentors drawn from organisations including Nuvia, EDF Group, TotalEnergies, and Tally&Co, students stand to gain direct insight into some of the most dynamic sectors shaping the country's economy. The mentors - all members of our French Emirati Women's Committee, were carefully matched with their student partners by CCI France UAE, with pairings designed to align areas of professional expertise with students' academic backgrounds and career interests.

Sessions are expected to continue through November 2026, with each pair setting their own agenda within a framework facilitated by CCI France UAE.
