Attended by BV's CEO and prominent thought leaders, the event showcased Bureau Veritas's dedication to sustainability and commitment to environmental stewardship:

1. Hydrogen Certification Partnership with Avance Labs:

Veritas and Avance Labs, accredited by the International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC) for hydrogen and hydrogen derivative fuels, signed an MOU to collaborate in the verification and certification of attributes. Bureau Veritas will serve as the exclusive Assurance Service Provider during the I-REC (HX) Hydrogen Code pilot phase.

2. Strategic Alliance with Kayrros and Optel Against Deforestation:
up with Kayrros, a leader in environmental intelligence, and OPTEL, a top traceability systems supplier, Bureau Veritas aims to combat supply-chain induced deforestation. This partnership supports compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), targeting deforestation linked to certain imports.
