RECAPP by Veolia and EGA’s Pledge for Aluminium Can Recycling

As a growing collector of Aluminium cans in the UAE, RECAPP by Veolia is proud to be part of the “Call to Accelerate Aluminium Beverage Can Circularity", a pivotal initiative led by International Aluminium Institute and launched at COP28 on 5th December 2023.

In partnership with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), we at RECAPP by Veolia are committed to elevating Aluminum recycling, aiming to significantly enhance recycling rates in the UAE! We are targeting through this pledge an ambitious aluminium beverage can recycling rates goal of at least 80% by 2030, and close to 100% by 2050.
