  • Ms. Alam has nearly 2 decades of international experience in Economic and Business Development. Her areas of focus include national competitiveness and FDI attraction, national security and defense, digital economy, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and communication and innovation. Her regions of focus include the Middle East including the Levant region, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP). She has worked across management consulting, multilateral development agencies, the public sector, and investment banking. Ms. Alam is a trusted adviser to national and industry leaders, including at the G20 level. ​

  • Currently, Ms. Alam is Managing Partner and CEO of AEON Advisors (www.aeonadvisors.org) , a “single window” consulting firm that focuses on EMDEs and provides tailored solutions to both public and private sector clients across policymaking, management consulting, legal and regulatory reforms, and large-scale transformation and change management. ​

  • Her former roles include G20 policy advisor, a near-decade long career with Kearney (a global top-tier strategy consulting firm) with an international portfolio of over USD 50 Million, and acting as Head of Strategy and Operations for the Federal PPP Authority of Pakistan. Ms. Alam has also worked in Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets, successfully closing transaction worth over USD 4.5 Billion cumulatively. She also acts as lead consultant for the Asian Development Bank on public-private partnerships.​

  • Ms. Alam is also an Independent Board Director for the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority of Pakistan, an autonomous institution. under the Federal Ministry of Industries and Production, and visiting faculty for ​

  • Ms. Alam has an MBA from INSEAD (France, Singapore) – She is the President of the INSEAD Alumni Association of Pakistan – and a BBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. She has also completed CFA level 1 and 2. ​
