Aurelien DELAHAYEDirector, Strategy & Resources – Middle East, EDF Group & Board Member, Emerge (Masdar & EDF Group JV)

Aurélien Delahaye is the Director of Strategy & Resources for the Middle East at EDF Group and a board member at Emerge. With over 20 years of strong experience in the energy sector, he has worked across construction, asset operations, molecule supply, and renewable energy project management. 

Since 2023, Aurélien has been spearheading EDF’s early-stage development of decarbonized energy solutions in the Middle East, covering power generation, transmission, and Power-to-X technologies for partners and clients. 

He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious “École des Arts et Métiers” in France. Aurélien moved to the UAE in 2021 to lead commercial and industrial solar initiatives, following successful assignments across Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
