Jesper STENBAKSenior Vice President - Abu Dhabi Regional Office - CMA CGM

Jesper Stenbak has extensive experience in the shipping industry. 

He started his journey 1985 in Denmark. Over the years he held various positions in the industry and in particular with the American President Lines (APL). 

He left Europe in 2012 as MD of APL North East Europe, heading to Singapore where he was appointed SVP of APL Asia-Europe Services and followed some years later by his appointment as SVP of APL Trans-Pacific services. 

After integrating APL Trans-Pacific services into CMA CGM network, Jesper moved back to Europe in 2020 to become SVP of CMA CGM Europe Regional Office. 

In 2021 Jesper took on new responsibility as the CEO of Containerships, a CMA CGM subsidiary and the leader in Intra-European multimodal transport focusing on making transportation more sustainable. 

Since 2023, Jesper was appointed as SVP of CMA CGM Abu Dhabi Regional Office, overseeing the Middle East Gulf, Indian Sub-Continent, Indian Ocean Islands, Southern & Eastern Africa.
