Jimmy NeronDirector - VINCI Energies

Jimmy NERON has been managing VINCI Energies activities in UAE for the past 5 years. He graduated in International Business Management at the IAE of Montpellier (South of France) in 1996.

Jimmy grew up in Nigeria and his Career started in Lagos as a Commercial Manager for Bolloré Group in Logistics. Few years later, as the General Manager of the Lagos Branch, he got familiar with the Oil & Gas sector.

In 2003 he joined the Subsea 7 Group in Nigeria as General Manager for Business development. During the following 5 years, Jimmy was involved in major Oil & Gas developments in Nigeria with TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil and Shell among others. He was also in charge of the operational base in Port-Harcourt for offshore activities.

Jimmy joined VINCI Energies in 2008 to develop the Oil & Gas Pole in Africa. In 2012 he took the position of Commercial Director covering the all the regions where the Pole operates.

After a period of almost 10 years in the Paris head office, Jimmy settled in Abu Dhabi in August 2017 with his wife and two daughters.

As an Operational Director for the UAE, his role is to support VINCI Energies clients in their digital transformation and energy transition.
