Michael TISSIERHead of Strategic Partnerships GCC - Sanofi
Michael Tissier is Head of Strategic Partnerships GCC at Sanofi, based in Dubai, where he leads strategic engagement with governments and institutions across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
With 20 years of experience spanning finance, M&A, business development, strategic and operational marketing, and country management, Michael brings a broad, end-to-end perspective on how a pharmaceutical company translates science into public health impact across the value chain, from R&D and manufacturing partnerships to government engagement and patient access.
His current focus is working with governments and institutions to build the healthcare ecosystems needed to advance the region’s long-term strategic ambitions, including national health resilience, economic diversification, knowledge and talent development, innovation capacity, and positioning "Made in GCC" on the world stage.
Trained as an industrial engineer at École Centrale de Lille, with an executive program at IMD, Michael brings a systems-level perspective to the discussion on how data, diagnostics and predictive tools can help shift healthcare from responding to disease toward anticipating and preventing it.
