Nathalie MARTIAL-BRAZChancellor - SORBONNE UNIVERSITY ABU DHABI

Nathalie Martial-Braz is a professor of private law, having held the agrégation des universités since 2011, and an honorary member of the Institut universitaire de France. 

She has been Chancellor of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi since 2023. 

A recognized specialist in digital lawand personal data protection, she headed the digital department of CEDAG at Université Paris Cité until 2024 and founded, in 2020, the first Master's program entirely dedicated to data protection law. 

On secondment to Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi since 2021, she is the author of numerous publications and regularly serves as an expert advisor to public institutions (the European Parliament, the Conseil d'État, UNCITRAL) on issues related to digital technology, the uberization of the economy, and data protection.
