Noora JAMSHEERCEO - Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (Danat)

With a career spanning close to three decades, Noora Jamsheer is a leader in the natural resources, gemstones, and diamond industries.

Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (Danat), she has transformed the organization into a globally recognized authority on pearl authentication and education, revitalizing Bahrain's historic pearl diving heritage while establishing cutting-edge scientific standards.

In the diamond sector, Noora previously served as the first CEO of the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE) where she led the DDE to become a member of the prestigious World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB).

Her expertise extends to international governance through her service as an Expert in Finance and Natural Resources with the United Nations Security Council's Group of Experts on Côte d'Ivoire. In this role, she contributed to global efforts in responsible resource management.

Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Investments, and Economics from Babson College, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Boston University, and postgraduate studies in Digital Transformation from MIT and Columbia University, equipping her with comprehensive expertise in financial systems, regulatory frameworks, and modern technological solutions.
