Sebastien Bedu is the General Manager for the Middle East at International SOS, where he leads the strategic, commercial, and operational agenda across one of the organization’s most complex and high‑risk regions. Based in Dubai, he is responsible for driving growth, performance, and client outcomes across a multi‑business portfolio supporting governments and multinational organizations operating in volatile and demanding environments.  

Sebastien joined International SOS in 2015 as Branch Manager for MedAire, the Aviation and Maritime division. In this role, he was responsible for scaling the Middle East and Africa business, strengthening operational delivery, and expanding partnerships across aviation, energy, and remote‑site sectors. During the COVID‑19 pandemic, he led the development and implementation of a first‑of‑its‑kind digital travel pass in partnership with an Abu Dhabi‑based airline, supporting safer cross‑border mobility during a period of global disruption. 

In 2021, Sebastien was appointed General Manager for the GCC, assuming leadership of both commercial and operational functions. In 2023, his mandate was expanded to cover the entire Middle East, with a particular focus on advancing International SOS’ health and security travel risk management solutions and reinforcing its position as a trusted advisor on duty of care, crisis preparedness, and resilience. 

With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience, Sebastien is a regular advisor to executive teams on enterprise risk, crisis leadership, and decision‑making under uncertainty. He frequently speaks at industry forums and engages with media on topics related to security, organizational resilience, and leadership in times of volatility.  

Prior to joining International SOS, Sebastien held senior commercial leadership roles in large multinational organizations, including serving as Director of Sales for the Middle East. His experience spans multiple industries and high‑growth markets, with a consistent focus on building resilient organizations and high‑performing teams.
