Anes CHAOUACHIManaging Director - Altrad Endel

Anas Chaouachi is the Managing Director of ALTRAD Nuclear Services in the Middle East. Born Tunisian, he grew up in the Middle East for the first eighteen years of his life before pursuing his studies in France, where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD. Drawn early to the nuclear sector, his professional path quickly became international, with experience across Europe, China, India, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. He began his work on nuclear new-build activities, contributing to major plant components and complex nuclear environments alongside leading industry players such as Framatome, EDF, and Alstom, before naturally shifting toward plant operations and maintenance.

Anas joined ALTRAD ten years ago as a Senior Project Manager, delivering critical modifications on the French nuclear fleet in support of long-term operation programs. He later established and developed ALTRAD’s nuclear activities in South Africa, supporting Eskom at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station, while closely following the emergence of the UAE nuclear program. With the full support of ALTRAD’s leadership, he went on to establish ALTRAD’s nuclear services platform in the UAE, joining the Group’s long-established regional operations and supporting the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in close partnership with Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation. Today, he focuses on consolidating the One ALTRAD nuclear services offering, positioning the UAE as ALTRAD’s international hub for nuclear expertise and execution.
