Jihane Bachir is the Chief Commercial, Data and Transformation Officer at L’Oréal Middle East. A strong people leader and strategic thinker, Jihane comes withover 25 years of experience in FMCG and an impeccable talent for developing resourceful strategies. ​

In this role, Jihane leads the commercial and data transformation strategy for L'Oréal Middle East. She is responsible for driving commercial excellencethrough transversal (or cross-divisional) best practices and preparing the business for the future. Furthermore, she spearheads the roadmap to unlock newgrowth opportunities for the group while overseeing regional commercial governance and policies.​

Jihane’s journey with L’Oréal Groupe started over 12 years ago as the Commercial Director for L’Oréal Luxe Levant in Lebanon in 2014. Her strongperformance in the role has led Jihane to the General Manager position of the L’Oréal Luxe Division in 2016. Under her leadership, the brand portfolio of theL’Oréal Luxe division witnessed exponential growth and market gain.​

In 2021, Jihane moved to Dubai to join the L’Oréal Middle East team as the General Brand Manager for Lancôme. During her tenure in the role, the brandwitnessed strong growth and market gain. Furthermore, Jihane’s online to offline approach orchestrated several booming brand impacts within the regionsuch as the launch of the first Lancôme direct to consumers website. ​

Prior to her current role, Jihane served as the Corporate Affairs and Engagement Director, a position she moved into in early 2024. During her tenure, sheestablished a robust Public Affairs structure and elevated L’Oréal Middle East’s engagement strategy through a “Glocal” approach, notably illustrated by theunique “Power of Beauty” platform and the launch of Saudi Arabia’s first socio-economic study. Together with her team, she established the foundation forL’Oréal to be recognized as a Beauty Tech leader, while also strengthening the group’s position as a key sustainability player among government bodies andecosystem stakeholders in the region.​

Before L’Oréal, Jihane started her career in 2002 at the Fattal Group in Beirut where she held several senior positions. Jihane is a Lebanese national and holdsa Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from École de Management de Lyon in France. She is fluent in English,Arabic, and French.
