Simon HACKERCEO and Founder - Alpha Nero

Simon Hacker is the CEO, founder, and managing partner of Alpha Nero, a leading firm in the manufacturing and design of shop fixtures, shop-in-shops, boutiques, and pop-up stores for high–end, global and regional luxury brands. 

He established the company in Dubai Production City in 2014 and has since grown it from eight employees to more than 300 within a facility spanning over 10,000 sq. m, a multinational team, and a portfolio of over 50+ luxury brands across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Under his leadership, Alpha Nero has expanded and diversified into the hospitality and residential sectors and, in 2025, successfully ventured into new markets including the USA, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. 

Day-to-day, Simon oversees the operations of the company, sets strategy and goals for growth, and ensures the quality and excellence of the solutions delivered to clients. Passionate about innovation and sustainability in the shop fit-out and manufacturing industry, he is committed to using the latest technologies and scientifically proven methods across all operations of Alpha Nero. This includes enabling the company to provide a full suite of retail production solutions – from fit-out and eco-friendly manufacturing to insights on consumer buying behaviour through data and analytics leveraging AI and deep learning. 

Beyond his corporate achievements, Simon actively contributes to leadership development and sustainability initiatives. He has mentored aspiring leaders through programmes at EM Normandie and Standard Chartered, helping to shape the next generation of business professionals. A recognised voice in the region’s sustainability dialogue, he has appeared as a contributor on Dubai One and Dubai Eye, where he has shared insights on the UAE’s efforts towards a more sustainable future. 

Simon has received several awards and accolades for his achievements as an entrepreneur and visionary leader. In 2022, he won the SME CEO Middle East Award, which honours outstanding CEOs who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields. He is also a member of the United Nations Global Compact Network, a platform for businesses to align their strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. 

He completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School in 2021. With a background in business administration and management, Simon graduated from Lyon University in 2010 and is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, reading, culinary tours, and tennis, and extends his creativity and love for music onto the decks as a DJ.
