CCI FRANCE UAE Business Awards 2023

With the support of

CCI FRANCE UAE is pleased to launch a new edition of its Business Awards, open to any CCI France UAE member company regardless of its nationality, or French non-member company or French company from abroad based in the UAE. The awards ceremony will take place during the CCI FRANCE UAE Gala Dinner on the theme 'Green is the New Black' on Friday 10 March 2023. This grand evening will gather more than 500 guests, including companies, investors, and representatives of French and local authorities at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi

The CCI FRANCE UAE Business Awards are composed of the below categories:

  • The Best ESG Impact Award for SME, sponsored by Schneider Electric
    • This award recognises the achievements of an entrepreneur or SME that stands out for its creativity and innovation in terms of products, services or production with an environmental and/or societal impact.
    • The finalists are: Atelier Foodstuff Trading L.L.C, Because You Care Soap Making, Circa Biotech Limited, Gautier (French Riviera Furniture), Mata Films et Wild Paint House
  • The Best UAE/France Project of the Year, sponsored by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)
    • This award recognises a company or organisation, regardless of size, that has focused on unique local CSR and ESG challenges and has contributed locally to solving them.
    • The finalists are: Danone, EM Normandie Business School in the UAE, EMERGE (a Masdar & EDF Joint Venture), ENGIE AMEA,  Green Riders Scooters Trading L.L.C, L'Oréal Middle East, MMEC Mannesmann L.L.C, Nojoom (an  EDF&ENGIE Joint Venture), RECAPP by Veolia, Toppan Gravity et Yellow Door Energy

Companies can only apply in one of the category listed above.

The NGO of the Year Award, sponsored par Chalhoub Group: This prize rewards an Emirati NGO that CCI France UAE wishes to honour during the evening for its commitment to sustainable development in the United Arab Emirates.

The winners will receive

  • 2 seats for the Gala Dinner,
  • During the Gala Dinner: their logo displayed on the screen and a one-minute speech,
  • After the award ceremony: communication on the CCI FRANCE UAE digital platforms. 

Conditions to apply

  • For "The Best ESG Impact Award for SME" : 
    • Have a valid UAE Trade Licence,
    • Be a company with less than 50 employees,
    • Be a member company of CCI FRANCE UAE, whatever its nationality, or if not a member, be a French company or a French company from abroad based in the UAE.
  • For "The Best UAE/France Project of the Year" :
    • Have a valid UAE Trade Licence,
    • Be a member company of CCI France UAE, whatever its nationality. 

The CCI France UAE, upon receipt of the application file, reserves the right to accept or not the applications according to the elements indicated in the form.

  • Monday 16 January to Friday 17 February 2023: Opening of applications
  • Friday 17 February to Friday 3 March 2023: Individual examination by the jury members.
  • Tuesday 7 March 2023: Meeting and final decision on the winners.
  • Friday 10 March 2023: Award ceremony during the Gala Dinner.

Gala Dinner 2023

Friday 10 March 2023, at the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi. The theme of this edition is "Green is the New Black".

The jury is composed of UAE-based representatives with recognized expertise and influence in the small business, environmental and innovative sectors, honorary members of the CCI FRANCE UAE, connoisseurs of the Franco-Emirati relationship and sponsors of our 2023 gala. The jury will take to heart to study all your files thoroughly with professionalism and confidentiality.
